This is my entry to for the Christmas contest this year. I just decided to do it out of the need for contest pressure to prepare me for other bigger contests. Also, doing sonic/nights for Christmas is my own tradition, as my mom said.
This one took a long time…. I aimed for classical sonic's coloring, and current sonic designs. I am quite pleased with this piece, perhaps my best Christmas Sonic so far. Looks good in print too. :)
Time: 11/29/03- 12/06/03 (couple of hours a day, do the math)
Medium: ink and photoshop 7.
I put up an in progress piece that hopefully will answer some of the FAQ like HOW DID YOU DO IT??!! thing….go don't ask it, go check it. [link]
