original description
Mighty was a child of thieves, captured before he was old enough to understand morals and what was right or wrong. He aimed to grow stronger. Strong enough to save his family, strong enough to save his sister. Strong enough to protect others. And failure after failure drove him into a guilty exile.
He was already an adult when he held the first book in his hands, but the symbols inside meant nothing to him, he looked at the pictures instead. Reading or writing weren't skills he needed to survive in the wild, on his journeys, or during his training. He didn't need to know how to write a letter to fight Badniks.
But that doesn't mean he didn't want to learn. So once he'd found someone new to protect, and actually succeeded in doing so… he allowed him to teach. Now Scourge wasn't the best teacher. He was impatient and enjoyed ridiculing him for his mistakes. Sometimes he simply fell asleep in the middle of lessons… But Mighty didn't mind. He loved learning as it meant he got to spend more time with the one most important to him. Even if… most of the time, he was the only one awake to enjoy it.
And secretly he wrote. With crooked letters and misspelled words.
A love letter.
