Mighty really establishes as a great role model of being a responsible brother — I hope this drawing reflects not only that but also his impeccable love for his siblings.


He's one of those characters I feel really shine in the comic — Ian did a great job making a character that was potentially legendary back in the day into someone that no Sonic Archie fan will ever forget. He's made an unfortunate past situation (with the separation of family from a young age) turn into one that is not only positive for the future but one that is beautiful, one that resonates with others, teaching the true value of 'family'.


I went with the Tracey Yardley pencil style with my own colouring method. The point of the exercise was to see what this PEN INK tool is all about on Paint Tool SAI. And omg… Is that PEN INK tool flawless! Look at the clean lines! I used to ink freehand and now it's a little less stressful since I got more guaranteed precision with each curve and stroke I make for outlines. I can easily customise the weights of each like too — you gotta give it a try!


Anyways much love and respect to Mighty, I would be a much better person in real life if I even had a shred of his charisma and loving heart.
