actually also if you look at the scenes where he’s controlling water (ex.overpowered idw) you can see that the water tendrils kind of look like literal tails sometimes in the quantity of 8 to go with his actual tail so he has like,actually 9 tails, hence the name kitsunami like KITsunami!!!!!!
