Yea, me modeling the Acorn throne was a bit of foreshadowing One of my patrons has the hots for Elias and wanted to commission me to make a model of him… I was interested, and as I started making it, the "interested" turned into "I may have a lil crush on him" lol. Can't blame me for it, he has all the things I like… Gold… Blue… A cape…

But yes, thanks to this newfound interest, I may have spent a bit more time and effort on this model than you'd guess. Elias' design has changed quite a bit during all of Archie, a bunch of small details that are constantly added, changed, re-colored almost every time he shows up. So I just decided to grab a bit of every major design, the stuff I liked the most.

What might catch your attention most, after some close inspection, is how high quality the clothes look. As I said, I may have spent a lot of time on this character lol. I had modeled the shirt/robe as I normally would, but then I saw THIS: ( https://www.deviantart.com/katewhb/…..corn-793192978 ) beautiful painting this artist made, and using it as reference, made me feel almost ashamed by how flat and lame the clothes looked compared to the painting. So I booted up good ol' Substance Painter and threw the model in. Soon I learned that Painter has a lot of tools for clothes~ So yea, now that I've learned how to do stuff like this, do expect a bit of an upgrade to some of the clothed characters I have~

Honestly I don't expect the character to be super popular, I guess we'll see, but either way, I'm very happy with the results, he's a very handsome dude and I WOULD let him kiss me 👉👈


And yes, I know about his sister, shush. Eventually.
