Sonic OVA WAS my favourite movie growing up so i decided to pay it tribute with… a screencap redraw.
this actually took me around 10+ hours across 3 days to do, and most of that was spent today trying to redraw the background (which still looks rushed as heck ahahahah)
preemptive warning just in case because yeah considering the last time i tried doing something like this spiralled into an upsettingly awful racist bullshit-fest with rampant, never-ending apologism that I NEVER WANT TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH AGAIN, let's all just keep the comments on sonic's race to a minimum. i had my inspiration and reasoning behind it, so let's leave it at that.
