Couple of Blaze/Rouge doodles that I realized I never posted on here whoops

Blazouge is such a fun and fascinating ship to me because I feel like there could be SO much interesting potential between these two, and yet they are as rare as rarepairs come.

I like to imagine Rouge catches word of another dimension existing out there somewhere, and takes particular interest in the Sol Emeralds. Once she arrives there, she soon learns the princess of the Sol Kingdom, Blaze, is the protector of said emeralds. Therefore, being the sly agent she is, quickly makes it her goal to get on Princess Blaze's good side to get closer to the emeralds.

What she wasn't prepared for, however, was for Blaze to call her bluff from the very start. Blaze is not a stranger to folks trying to butter her up in order to extract information, money, or anything else from her. And it isn't until she invites Rouge into private that she finally reveals that she not only knows who Rouge is, but knows she's here for something other than the princess's affections.

At this point I like the idea of the two of them playing a sort of cat and mouse game over time (no pun intended), where Rouge attempts to infiltrate Blaze's castle, Blaze responds by heightening security, Rouge is successful, and the challenge begins all over again. Despite Blaze's best efforts, the sly bat always manages to slip past even her best, most experienced guards. The two grow almost fond of each other after a while, one thing leads to another, and now Rouge is spending quite a few of her nights in Blaze's company in her castle. They keep their relationship under very tight wraps for a long time since there's no telling how the Sol Kingdom's subjects would react if they learned the infamous jewel thief, Rouge the Bat, had stolen the heart of their beloved ruler.

So yeah uh we need way more fanfics of these two imo
