since i've had some issues on other platforms with people sending me hate for this piece, and saying "it's not june" and "sonic/shadow aren't gay," lemme clarify that LGBT people don't only exist in june, and the flags they're holding are not me making a statement of their sexuality/gender. you can hold a flag w/o automatically being that thing. i simply do not hc sonic or shadow as anything, but feel free to hc them as whatever makes you happy!! also, complimenting the art does not justify homophobic comments or jabs at my identity, i can't believe i have to say this but it happened multiple times yesterday. if you are lgbtphobic in any way, DNFI. if you like my art but dislike who i am, it's so easy to NOT bring up my identity while commenting OR say nothing at all. btw sonic canonically hates oppression and the entire point of the series is freedom so fuck right off if rainbows trigger you <3
